Do the difficult things while they are easy and do the great things while they are small. A journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step.

What has attracted me to Chinese medicine

At the time I was introduced to acupuncture, I was exactly where you are. “Needles? No, thanks!” But my seasonal allergies were increasingly affecting my life (“You can chew or you can breathe, but you can’t do both!” )

Having witnessed firsthand that Western medicine does not have the answers it sometimes claims to have, I walked through the door of a holistic medical approach and discovered a view of the human condition that doesn’t divide good and bad. Chinese medicine sees YOU, not your disease alone.

What is your experience with infertility?

While studying acupuncture and herbal medicine, my wife decided to not-not-get-pregnant. We started by avoiding contraceptives, then sort of started counting days of the menstrual cycle and eventually realized that 3 years without success is not usual when you are 25. We tried to learn as much as possible about what we could on our own without expensive treatment. All without success. While acupuncture and herbal medicine didn’t unlock some magical lock that was barring us from parenthood, they did help with all the secondary effects of infertility. We are now parents of a beautiful and healthy baby boy.

About Andrej

Andrej was raised in Germany, a leader in alternative medicine practices in Europe. He was first introduced to acupuncture when he successfully attempted to cure his allergies using TCM by a local practitioner. The efficacy and simplicity of the treatment drew him into wanting to know more about acupuncture and its capabilities, eventually convincing him of wanting to practice acupuncture himself.

Andrej finished his Master of Science in Acupuncture and TCM at Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Denver, CO. While there, he also invested time expanding his education on different forms of acupuncture, such as the Distal Point Method taught by Dr. Richard Tan. This method aims for quick pain relief while being a gentle treatment approach.

Andrej is nationally board-certified by the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and is a Washington State licensed practitioner in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

Having health care available at attainable prices to the general public is one reason that motivated Andrej to study Acupuncture. Providing both treatment methods adaptable to different needs, as well as educating patients on lifestyle changes to maintain achieved results, are aspects he considers in treatments. He is both personable and professional, going further than most to meet the trust his patients place in him.
